Art and Science: investigating Climate Change
Published 31 March 2016
Deploying technologies in cross-disciplinary collaborations
Innovative responses are required as we negotiate a variety of issues arising from global climate change. Join us for a panel discussion, led by artist and designer Kate Dunn, with climate scientist Dr Sarah Perkins-Kirkpatrick and spectroscopist and chemist Dr Elizabeth Carter. The discussion will explore technologies being deployed in cross-disciplinary collaborations to help preserve the world we live in: from 3D printing, used to communicate complex scientific ideas, to new technologies aimed at combatting the increase of mould-blooms on fresco paintings.
