Silver Beach, Kurnell

Clean up, fix up and conserve the environment.

Join the USIMS land and dive Team ‘above or below H2O’ to Clean Up Australia.

Please meet on the beach in front of the Bonna Point Boat Ramp Carpark, from 9.30 am.

Bring appropriate clothing ready for the weather and gloves to pick up rubbish, and water to keep you sustained. I’ll have the litter bags and have organised the removal, and those snorkelling/diving* will be emailed separately with the details on RSVP.

This will be both a beach and SCUBA* rubbish collection site. We will decide if the dive collection will be an afternoon session or will run at the same time as the beach collection …depending on registrations.

*SCUBA RSVP: Please email Sarah-Jo Lobwein if you want to be ‘below’ H2O (diving/snorkelling), and if you do choose diving if you prefer morning or afternoon session (will decide on numbers).

FYI High tide is at 1.07pm approximately.

Once we have numbers we will set up a separate Clean Up page for you to register.

PRIZES: OzTek Dive Conference passes

Donate: This is a great way to do something good for our local environment. If you cannot make it, please think about donating the cause via http://www.cleanupaustraliaday.org.au/Silver+Beach
