This workshop will focus on the social impacts of resource developments. It will bring together social impact experts, academics, community representatives and civil society organisations concerned with proposed and on-going resource projects in NSW. Discussions will focus on how social impacts can be better accounted for in land-use decisions around resource developments, including impacts on sense of place; impacts of property acquisitions; impacts on Aboriginal people; impacts on public health; and alternatives to proponent driven social impact assessment.
This is a closed workshop. For more information please contact Rebecca Lawrence at sei.events@sydney.edu.au.
