All Invited to the Food@Sydney Seminar Series

The FOOD@SYDNEY seminar series is about to start. This initiative the Food node of Sydney Environment Institute in collaboration with the Charles Perkins Centre and Sydney Ideas aims to tackle the big food challenges.

The FOOD@SYDNEY seminar series is an exciting initiative from the Food node of Sydney Environment Institute in collaboration with the Charles Perkins Centre and Sydney Ideas.

Throughout this series of seven free public speaker events leading academics, influencers and activists from Sydney and beyond will delve in to the big food issues facing Australia and the world. From food waste to food sovereignty and from obesity to small agriculture – these talks will tackle the most critical food challenges.

To start the series, Tackling Food Waste on Thursday 7 August will look to our own kitchens to find answers to the big problem that is food waste. The event will be chaired by Associate Professor Bill Pritchard with speakers Alexandra Iljadica from Youth Food Movement Australia, Dr. Brian Jones from The University of Sydney
and Ronni Kahn from OzHarvest. To register click here.
