Energy Security and Climate Adaptation in Australia

Published 21 July 2017
The politics of renewables.
This project explores the political-economy of current debates over energy security and climate change adaptation through a focus on the Australian energy sector. In particular, we focus on how large energy businesses, industry associations and other stakeholders seek to shape the future of energy production and distribution and the volatile politics of a potential shift from centralised fossil fuel-based energy systems towards low-carbon, decentralised and renewable alternatives.
